Vice President

Daryl A. Starks holds the office of Vice President for the Tennessee State University Alumni Association – Birmingham Chapter. Daryl graduated from Tennessee State University in May of 2008 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Architectural Engineering. After graduation, Daryl used the education he attained while at TSU to become a Project Engineer for MBA Structural Engineers, Inc. in Birmingham, AL. Daryl is also involved with the ACE Mentorship Program of Birmingham, serving as Mentor Coordinator, and is a professional member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the National Society of Black Engineers-Alumni Extension (NSBE-AE).

Secretary

Felicia Carter holds the office of Secretary for the Tennessee State University Alumni Association- Birmingham Chapter. Felicia is a proud TSU graduate from the class of 1983. While at TSU, Felicia majored in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Additionally, she was a member of the dynamic Aristocrat of Bands, in which she played the saxophone and earned the distinction of being the first female drum major of our beloved university. Felicia served as drum major for two years.
